RECON3D Vol.2 3D Object Collection brings to
your projectshigh quality 3D meshes of objects originating hundreds
of years ago. The old world of the Middle Ages is captured in a large
collection of art pieces re-created from historical data.

This Collection exhibits artifacts taken from medieval art and
architecture. It reflects the most important concepts of medieval artists,
as well as those of their great followers hundreds of years later in the
Gothic Revival, New Gothic or Neo-romanesque periods of art.
The re-created elements capture the aesthetical and technical
innovations of their time. Romanesque and Gothic Art along with
more regional styles are represented in this new digital existence.
We researched and developed elements mostly from France, England,
Ireland, Germany, Italy and Spain as well as Eastern Europe countries.

Items are grouped in styles, and within a group you can find
various configurations and variations of the objects. We have also
created and included elements which are related to a specific style,
but historically do not belong to it. As an addition to the existing styles
we have added a wonderful sample of Romanesque, Gothic and Celtic
ornaments.

These quality meshes were developed in a polygonal system, with
named parts for easy manipulation. Industry standard geometry
formats LWO, 3DS, OBJ, DXF and 3DFM are provided on a CD-ROM.
Additional formats are available upon request. To give you freedom in the
design process we have not assigned any materials, so you can feel free
to map objects in the way required by your project.
